Building an AR Varmint Rifle

Going to Pick up a Montana Black Gold Upper and Lower tomorrow from Clay Ellig. Decided on the .204 Ruger. I am going to document the process of selecting components. A lot to choose from.  Here we go.

    Hi Mark,
I highly recommend an Elftmann Tactical match trigger. They are built with precision sealed roller needle bearings, they break like glass with no creep and very little over travel. They’re also user adjustable for the weight of pull 2-3/4 to 4 lbs. The best part they’re USA made with a lifetime guarantee.

Bob, Thanks for that info. I need to update my storyline on the AR. I finished the build last fall and used a Timmney trigger and I am not happy with it. There is substantial creep. I did a little looking after reading your comment and the Elftmann certainly looks like a good buy with great reviews. Wish I had bought it in the first place. I may switch and sell my Timmney as I cant stand a bad trigger !
